Mt. Diablo YES is designed to utilize the youths’ strengths to assist them in establishing goals, developing employable skills while making academic progress. YES believes that students have the potential to succeed given the appropriate support.
Mt. Diablo YES is under the umbrella of School Linked Services. School Linked Services has been a pioneer in providing supportive services to vulnerable populations.

ELIGIBILITY
The Mt. Diablo YES program serves youth ages 16 to 21 who are underserved and need additional assistance to reach their academic and/or employment goals. In order to qualify for the program, applicants must be either:
Foster Youth
Homeless Youth and/or Runaway
An Offender
Pregnant and/or Parenting
In Special Education/504 Plan
Mental Health Problems
Low Income
YES & WIA Resources
MDUSD Workability : Supports students who are in Special Eduction become career ready and connects students to jobs.
Workforce Development Board: Provides jobs, trainings, small business assistance, updates about upcoming events.
Earn & Learn East Bay:They connect 16-21 year old WIOA youth to summer jobs, internships and other high-quality work-based learning experiences, such as industry-lead summer camps. Mt. Diablo YES is a Earn & Learn Partner.
East Bay Works:Current job postings, workshops, resume building, trainings offered.
Department of Labor: Provides info about labor laws, unemployment insurance, updates about current events and opportunities.
