Mt. Diablo Unified School District Internship Program
Mt. Diablo Unified MSW Internship Program offers one of the most challenging and rewarding internships in the Bay Area. Beyond excellent fieldwork placement and supervision, Mt. Diablo Unified offers a comprehensive training program working with student, parents and guardians from diverse backgrounds. Paid interns become MDUSD employees and work to promote the social, emotional, and behavioral wellness of children and adolescents. Interns learn to provide clinical social work services such as child therapy and case management, and collaborate with mental health, child welfare, juvenile probation, and community partners to deliver culturally competent services that promote social justice, equity, and the educational success of our learners. Internships with MDUSD meet requirements of IV-E and Prop 63 Mental Health placements.

MDUSD MSW & PPSC Interns
Social Work Interns play an integral role in the provision of services in the Foster Youth Services and The Diablo Community Center programs in the MDUSD. In addition to providing direct services to children and families in the school district, interns bring with them the enthusiasm and high expectations engendered by studying at some of the best graduate institutions in the country.

MDUSD has a long standing partnership with CSU-East Bay, UC Berkeley, and San Francisco State University.
